Havana, May 17 .- About 25 Damas de Blanco walked the downtown Fifth Avenue in Havana to draw the attention of their jailed relatives and other political prisoners, on Sunday May 16, confirm, visually the Union of Free Journalists of Cuba, giving news coverage to the event.

The women, before the march attended Mass in the church catalytic Santa Rita de Casia, and then marched under a hot sun on Fifth Avenue. At the back were cries of Freedom for political prisoners!, And Freedom! Front of the temple.

Martha Beatriz Roque Cabello, the only woman in the group of 75 dissidents imprisoned in Spring 2003 on the island model, contact was in place this journalist.

Toledo Laura Pollan, leader of the group in an exclusive statement given to the Union of Free Journalists of Cuba said: "A representation of the Ladies in White held a meeting at the Archdiocese of Havana, on 16 May.
