Havana, May 9 - About 30 women in the group to support the Ladies in White, participated with an equal number of the world-famous group of Cuban women, who Every Sunday demanding the release of their imprisoned for political reasons.
Mass today at the conclusion of the group of women made their traditional march from 30th Street to 10th Street on 5th Ave. Avenida in the Miramar district in the capital. The march was led by Enilda Tanquero, mother of political prisoner Jorge Luis González Tanquero, Asunción Carrillo, mother of political prisoner Iván Hernández Carrillo and Reyna Luisa Tamayo, mother of the martyr Orlando Zapata Tamayo.
The note is worth noting that the Women in Support Sunday came despite serious warnings from State Security, which argued that it was not part of the agreement, which categorically refuted Laura Pollan, making it clear that she had no agreement to that effect.
should be noted that despite a high police presence there were no excesses or abuses by the military.
